Welcome to You & Me Food! By downloading or using our app, these terms will automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the You & Me Food mobile application, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

While we strive to provide delicious and accurate suggestions, AI can make mistakes. By using this app, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for verifying ingredients for any allergies or dietary restrictions before cooking.
• You should use your own judgment regarding food safety (e.g., checking if meat is fully cooked) regardless of the AI's suggested times.
• You & Me Food is not liable for any illness, injury, or culinary mishaps resulting from the use of these recipes.

3. Use License

You & Me Food grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to download and use the app for your personal, non-commercial use on your mobile device.

4. In-App Purchases and Billing

You & Me Food may offer products and services for purchase ("In-App Purchases") through iTunes (Apple App Store).

• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable by us. Refund requests must be directed to Apple Support, as they handle the transaction processing.
• Access: Purchased content (e.g., Premium features) is valid for the duration specified at the time of purchase (e.g., Lifetime Access).

5. Notifications and Marketing

By using the app, you agree that:

• We may send you push notifications regarding app updates, cooking tips, or promotional offers via Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can manage these in your device settings.
• If you opt-in to tracking via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, we may use data identifiers to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns on platforms like Meta (Facebook).

6. User Conduct

The app is designed for couples to cook together. You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage or disrupt the service for others.

7. "As Is" and "As Available" Disclaimer

The Service is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
